 How My GPS Works

You call us. We connect you to a navigator -  an empathetic, knowledgeable guide - who has the experience and training to calm the chaos, and has access to a database of mental health and other human services. It's a place to turn to throughout the twists and turns of treatment and recovery. We aim to listen to you with compassion, a sense of genuine optimism, and solution-oriented thinking. My Mental Health GPS offers flexible packages of short and longer-term assistance depending on your needs.

Services we connect you with may be local or virtual and encompass the broad scope of available resources. Based on the individual's immediate and long-term priorities, the ‘fit’ of programs will be determined with consideration of questions such as:
- Is the resource affordable/accessible?

- What is required for this person to use this resource?
- Will this resource be supportive of the  person's goals?

We focus on all eight dimensions of wellness: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and environmental. The aim is to help people strive for a life that feels most authentic to them, respecting that everyone has their priorities, ways, dreams, and ideas about living life fully.

We take a social determinants of health approach, focusing on building relationships and shrinking inequities in the system. There is no 'us' and 'them' – everyone will get first-rate service.

The GPS will not provide medical advice, only referrals, and guidance. All INclude My Mental Health GPS services are provided with HIPPA compliant privacy and confidentiality policies.
